Achieve The 'Slim-Fit' Look.

‘Slim’ is in and it doesn’t appear as if it would go out anytime soon. For every average woman of this century, it is the way to go. How to look slimmer? That’s the big question but don’t worry, if you are a plus sized lady who has failed to achieve slimness with painful exercises and weight loss diets but who still desires to look slim for that glam event or that important date, here are the dressing tips you need.

1. Wear boot cut pants:

Skinny trousers will attract attention to the hips and thighs. A boot cut style or full flared trousers balances out your curvy lower body. Choose a darker colour for your bottom half because of its slimming effect.

2. Cinch your waistline:

If you are petite, voluminous dresses can swallow you up, so belting up is the key. Find the smallest part of your upper half and cinch it. Also a fitted top tucked into a fuller skirt can really flatter petite feminine curves.

3. Dress in colour blocks:

A busy head to toe pattern can make you look bigger than you are. A bright solid top tucked into a black pencil skirts or trousers with high waist, shapes and slims your silhouette. You can equally do a single colour block in a dress.

4. Play up your shoulders:

A tall figure can be overwhelmed by a large and roomy top. A cropped boxy jacket with wide shoulders gives the rest of the body a better proportion.

5. Wear dark and neutral colours:

If you can, stick to dark and neutral colours, avoid wearing light and bright colours. Lighter and brighter colours have tendency to create volume.

6. Wear heeled shoes:

at the minimum, complement your dress trousers or skirts with heeled shoes. The higher the heels on your shoes, the slimmer you will look.

7. Steer clear of horizontal stripes:

They make you appear wider, but consider vertical stripes, which make you look longer and leaner.

My Top 5 Handbag Must-Haves

Halloa!!!
I find it surprising these days the manner of stuff I see in some girls bags that I have to wonder. I know it's your bag and all plus you have every right to put in what you want but some girls are absolutely clueless...I thought I should do them a favour by putting this up.
These are my top 5 handbag essentials. All my ladies, read and learn.....

1. Lip gloss

Believe it or not, it's absolutely necessary for a beautiful and succulent pout. No one is saying you must make them seductive but trust me, dry and cracked lips are such a huge "no no" you don't want to be caught dead with them. So lip gloss it is! Plus it could be clear or coloured, matte or frosty, it's totally up to you girl so rock it!

2.Chewing Gum

and just before you kill me let me state this. No! I do not approve of the way some girls chew gum...more like sluts if you ask me, they could be so annoying and irritating!! Know what I mean, but then I have to say that gum is very effective in combating bad breath especially the sugar free types. So go with mint and remember not to chew in Church or class. Please for God's sake, act like a lady!

3. A wad of tissue

You really should have that tucked somewhere nicely in your bag. Your nose could get runny or you could need to dab your mouth after eating out. It is essential, trust me!

4. Cell Phone

Seriously, what can we do without our phones in this age and time? Nothing! lol....facebook, twitter, calling, texting, blogging and even there's a Bible app! Cute!! You need to be on the go 24/7

5. Money

My favourite! You need this so you don't ever get stranded...ever! Money answers all things you know...well, it mustn't be loads and loads of it but at least have a little change.
And there it is...my top 5 handbag must-haves. Now you know it so use it!!! Capise?
